The process will involve, home visits, community development programme, community participation, case planning, meetings and case conferences.

Early intervention is for kids up to age 10 years. To be eligible, your child must have either:

Not all treatments work for all the children of the same age but intervention will be tailored about a child’s needs.

Child labour in regards to street vendors is not an isolated issue. Across many developing countries, children of low-income families often end up being forced out of an education to instead help support their parents and siblings by selling ladies accessories, boxes of matches or food on the streets. This creates a vicious cycle of poverty, as while working on the street provides a short-term solution to make money, dropping out of school means the child forgoes the opportunity to receive an education and create a better life for themselves in the future.

This grant supports the career progression of early to mid-career high school female students with primary carer responsibilities and assists WCS in fostering talent to progress female students from secondary to the NUS Preparatory Year. Taro is one of the few fresh commodities for which Pacific Island countries have been able to achieve significant levels of exports. It is a staple food item in a Samoan home, and we are proud to have WCS export fresh taro to Australia for pacific families to have access to. It is a priority for WCS as a more valuable and cost-effective option than frozen taro with its high refrigeration costs. This allows WCS to engage with communities in one of the most meaningful ways we know how, and that is investing in their hard work.
